5:30 Music Merit Badge with Mr. Hutchinson
6:00 Camping Merit Badge with Ms. Cyr
7:00 Citizenship in the Community Merit Badge with Mr.Thomas
Monday, December 19 Community Service work in honor of the season at the Preble Street Resource Center Soup Kitchen. Two shifts of 6 boys each will stack food in the pantry. (The 1st shift will begin at 3:00PM, the 2nd shift at 4:00PM. We're looking for four adults to drive and support the scouts at the site)
Christmas Pizza Party at 5:30 This will be followed by a pizza party and “bring a toy for others” in support of the Cumberland Fire Department, Explorer Post , whose members are conducting a local Toy Drive. (More details at Monday's meeting)
Monday, December 26th No Meeting Happy Holiday and Merry Christmas!
January Plans:
January 9 (or 23rd) Continuation of Citizenship in the World merit badge and other Advancements.
January 16th No meeting, Martin Luther King, Jr.
January 23 Troop Elections and final advancement night before Winter Court of Honor.
January 27th-28th Weekend at Tenney Campsite, Camp Hinds
January 30 Court of Honor, Pot Luck and Friends of Scouting presentation

Watch for planning meetings for Baxter State Park/Mt. Katahdin, and possible trip to Gettysburg, PA.
Note: Please remember that if you have been approved by the B.S.Council to be a merit badge counselor we request that you notify Mrs.Baughan.
Also, when a Merit Badge has been requested of a counselor by a scout, it is the Counselor's obligation to offer the badge to the entire troop, not just for a single or exclusive group of scouts.
