Monday, April 26th 6:00 - 8:00 PM Meeting at Wescustogo Hall. (note the earlier time)
Annual Patrol Dessert Cook Off! Be ready to wow the judges with your desserts cooked outdoors!

Monday, May 3rd 6:30 - 8:00 PM No School, No Scouts (teachers' in-service day)

Monday, May 10th 6:30 - 8:00 PM Regular Meeting at Wescustogo Hall.
Keep your eyes out for the newly crossed over Scouts from the North Yarmouth and Cumberland Cub Scout packs and make them feel welcome!
This will be a planning meeting for the upcoming Spring Jamboree (see below, May 14-16) and for the 'Ultimate' Patrol Competition evening to be held at the May 17th meeting. Merit Badge College to continue for merit badges in progress, and advancement for the younger Scouts as time permits.
We plan to finish the meeting with a game of Ultimate Frisbee or Capture the Flag.

Friday through Sunday, May 14th - 16th Casco Bay District Spring Camporee
At Ossipee Valley Fairgrounds, South Hiram.
This Camporee's theme is the Civil War, and will include foods and first aid as experienced during the Civil War as well as demonstrations and discussions by area reenactors.

Monday, May 17th 6:30 - 8:00 PM - Regular Meeting at Wescustogo Hall.
Ultimate Patrol Competitions: Compete against your fellow scouts in areas of knot tying, lashings and fire starting (without matches).

Saturday, May 22nd Time TBD
Canoe Trip on the Royal River.
Traditionally, we put in at Wescustogo Park in North Yarmouth and paddle to Yarmouth, finishing just before the dam at Royal River Park.

May 23rd, 2004 PLC (5:30 6:30 PM) and Committee (7:00 - 8:00 PM) Meetings
This is the last Patrol Leaders Council Parent/Troop Committee meeting before the summer break.

Scoutmaster (Brian Tarbox) and Assistant Scoutmasters and Committee Members will be available from 6:30 7:00 between the PLC Meeting and the Committee Meeting to answer any questions and offer an overview of how the Boy Scout program works. Scouts and adults are cordially invited to these informational sessions. We hope these informal meetings will help newcomers learn the ropes and also answer questions from the more seasoned Scouts and adults.

Monday, May 24th 6:30 - 8:00 PM Regular Meeting at Westcustago Hall.
Merit Badge College to continue for merit badges in progress, and advancement for the younger Scouts as time permits. All Summer Camp payments must be turned in by this meeting in order to take advantage of the discounted price.

Monday, May 31st Memorial Day Parade
Although there is no school on this Monday, all Scouts are encouraged to participate in the annual Cumberland Memorial Day Parade. We'll meet at Mabel I. Wilson School before the parade. Time TBD in the morning.

Looking Ahead
as always, will include our Annual Pig Roast (June12) and the Annual Water Fight as our last scheduled meeting of the year.

Also, June 7th, at the regular Monday meeting Dr. Lavoie will be available to conduct physicals for those Scouts headed to summer camp. A permission slip from parent or guardian will be absolutely required to participate.
