We have three regular Monday meetings this month, and two Sunday outings as well.

Monday, October 6th Court of Honor and Pot Luck Dinner at 6:00 PM
(note change of time half an hour early for dinner)

What more can we say? Families are invited to help celebrate the achievements of our Scouts. Please bring a main dish or dessert to share.

Monday, October 13th Columbus Day - No School, No Scouts

Sunday, October 19th Hike in the Lovell, ME area
Meet at 7:00 AM at Westcustago Hall.

This is a rescheduling of the hike that was postponed due to weather in September. Please contact Mrs. Wren if you are interested in attending. There are two sections to this hike the first section will fulfill the 5-mile hike requirement for the Second Class rank; continuing on and finishing both sections will count as a 10-mile hike for those working on the Hiking Merit Badge.

Monday, October 20th - Merit Badge College
6:30 - 8:00 PM, Westcustago Hall

Stay tuned to see which merit badges will be offered.
The younger Scouts will also work on advancement.

Sunday, October 26th Skyline Farm 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM (or so)
This day will include a compass orienteering course and cooking over an open fire great for fulfilling requirements in the lower ranks. We will also be inviting the Webelo 2 Scouts from the North Yarmouth and Cumberland packs to participate with us.

Monday, October 27th Merit Badge College, part 2 and Disaster Training
6:30 - 8:00 PM, Westcustago Hall

Those Scouts who began merit badge work on the 20th will continue. Also, we will have a disaster training competition.

Rock Gym Trip
our regularly scheduled meeting will move to the Rock Gym on Marginal Way in Portland from 6:00 - 8:30 PM. Cost per person is $12. assuming participation of 16 or more. This is great training for the Acadia trip in May.

Saturday and Sunday, December 13-14
Zealand Falls Trip
overnight in huts; hike in the mountains.
